Fines for Food (November 1-23)

Bring a non-perishable food item to the Circulation desk and we will waive fines on overdue books, Dvds and Cds. The fine for one (1) Library item will be waived for each food item donated. PLEASE, NO CANDY OR OUTDATED FOOD. Tolietries will also be accepted. All donations will go directly to a local food pantry. Help your neighbors, help yourself and help your Library!

Shredding Day

Free Shredding Day at the Library on November 5, 10AM-2PM

The Bay Shore-Brightwaters Public Library will be sponsoring a FREE shredding day on Saturday, November 5 from 10 AM to 2PM. Bring all of your old confidential documents for onsite shredding while you watch via closed circuit video. There is no limit, and staples, paper clips, are acceptable. All shredded materials are recycled. If you have any questions, contact the library at 631-665-4350.


How to be an eBay seller (October 29, @ 10-12 PM)

You’ve been shopping on eBay and now you’re ready to sell. How do you set up an eBay seller’s account? How do you describe your items? How much will it cost? How do you get a picture online? These questions and many more will be answered in this class. Prerequisites: Intro to eBay or familiarity with eBay. Comfort with computers. (This is part 2 to our Intro to eBay class). NO FEE
